OMIGOSH!

It has been so so so long since I have blogged or read ya'lls blogs. BUT I'M BACK!! I have been actively looking for a job. I have to say, I love rejection which is good since I have pretty much been rejected from every job I applied for. This rejection includes an unpaid internship with Zoo Atlanta, that rocked.

So, here's what I am thinking: I am waiting to hear if I got a job in Aspen, CO/Kauai, HI for a nanny position. Everything paid for plus salary. Will you miss me?

Oh, and by the way... I got a bunny. His name is Basil and he's awesome. Two nights ago he learned to jump on my bed. If I knew how to put a photo in, I definitely would.

I also rescued three Russian Dwarf Hamsters... don't ask

Dogs v. Cats

As you all know, I love cats. A little too much probably. I think this is why I like Cory and the Sportslady so much. They dote on Zoe like I dote on Reilly and Chaucer.

However,

On Wednesday John Wayne and I got a puppy and I LOVE HIM!!!!! He is the most adorable black labrador retriever. We drove to South Carolina to get him. I wish you could all see him, because he rocks. He is cuddly and little and cute.

I think I just became a dog person.

PS don't worry about Reilly and Chaucer, I am still obsessed with them!

I lied

So I promised to be more consistent with my postings... I lied... It's the week before finals though, so I am pretty sure I'll be posting. After all, I always like a good distraction from studying. If you are wondering, I am posting instead of writing a 12 page paper that is due tomorrow. I am on page three, close enough, right?

I feel like I have let the Sportslady down by not posting, and then I think, what does she care? SHE'S LEAVING C TOWN!! I am very happy for ya'll. Enjoy a tropical Christmas for me.

So John Wayne is being nice to me... He's been exceptionally nice to me since we got back from Thanksgiving. This is odd. I don't know what to make of it. But then I remember I am someone "up there's" puppet. My laugh gives someone a big laugh. At least someones laughing.

I am pretty sure you can expect heartbreak in a not so distant future post. For now, kids, I'm out. Miss me. I miss ya'll.

New In The World

I saw the Sportslady on Thanksgiving. She reminded me I have not kept up with my blog recently... Very true. So here I sit. I was trying to think of something interesting to include here, but there is not much.

John Wayne and I are not back on. I don't really understand what the situation is. It's complicated, that's about all I know.

School is winding down for the semester. That's good. I'm tired of it. As much as I want to graduate, I'm not sure I am ready to move out on my own and be a "real" adult. That doesn't sound like much fun (or profitable.) Ready or not, here it comes.

Speaking of graduating all of you moving to different cities or not moving to different cities should be in a good word at your respective stations about this really great, soon to be graduated person who is going to need a job. Hint: It's me.

But my bestest friend in the entire world is. She got engaged yesterday to the boy she loves, which is good, because as much as I love the kid she is HIGH maintenance. I am her best friend, so I can say these things. I would post a picture of the lovely couple, but I don't know how, so imagine.

To Be or Not To Be

I like my major classes. I really enjoyed my internship at WTVM, but as of late I have been wondering if becoming a reporter is "practical." Everyone I have talked to seems to think that you cannot survive on the pay of a reporter. Well, you can, but you have to live in a cardboard box, under the bridge and only eat Saltines and drink tap water. I am not sure this sounds so appealing... I don't like water.
So as of late I have found myself trying to figure out what else I can do in this world with the expensive skills I have learned in schoool. I refuse to do sales (come on, do you really think people would buy stuff from me? No.) And... I got nothing else... Hm. It's conundrum. Perhaps some of you people out there have a rich, male friend who would like to share his money until I figure this out? Please, don't be selfish, send me your rich, single friends.
